Little Thakeham : ウィキペディア英語版 | Little Thakeham Little Thakeham is a Grade 1 listed private house near the village of Storrington in the Horsham District of West Sussex, England. The property was designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens in the medieval vernacular style for wine importer Ernest Blackburn. Completed in 1903 and covering , it is considered one of Lutyens best private houses. Laid out in a H-shape, it has a Cotswolds manor style about it, but using locally mined course-stone which has weathered quickly to give the house externally a 16th-century look. The house consists of two storeys plus an attic, with two wings, to provide 9 bedrooms of accommodation.
